Principles of Humanity is a non-governmental humanitarian initiative whose mission is to protect civilians in situations of armed conflict or armed violence.
Principles of Humanity works with fighting parties in a long-term process of engagement. The organisation aims to encourage parties to adapt their policies and practices and bring them into line with international humanitarian
law.
To make their courses more accesible Principles of Humanity wanted to develop and design a virtual training platform on international humanitarian norms.
The result is Principles of Humanity, a website that offers downloadable resources as well as learning tools such as games and online documentation.
Games offer the user different options in a test format, a feature developed with H5P technology and the WordPress CMS.
