Since 1883 Alliance Française offers quality education to anyone interested in learning French. With 800 offices in 133 different countries, the organization has become a prominent promoter of the French language and francophone culture around the world, defending an educational model based on diversity, solidarity, tolerance and interculturalism.
Alliance Française is approaching new digital educational models to teach French, specially focusing in early childhood students. Digital activities based on games and the use of characters well-known by children has shown great results. As part of this effort, Alliance Française worked with Relief Applications to build a series of vocabulary games using Petit Poilu cartoon, a very popular French cartoon targeting children between 3 and 6 years old. These educational games aim to teach basic vocabulary related to the weather and animals. Activities are conducted through an offline-online platform called Articulate
