The client

Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH) provides humanitarian aid worldwide. It supports victims of natural disasters, war and displaced populations  in emergency situations with aid measures designed to suit the local economic and social  conditions and political context of a specific country or region.

The organization is part of the Evangelisches Werk für Diakonie und Entwicklung e.V. (EWDE), the Social Service Agency of the German
Protestant Church with HQ in Berlin and regional offices in Asia, Africa and Latin America.

The project

DKH was seeking a consultancy firm to provide data protection guidelines and tools equipping the organisation to protect program, operational and
donor data. The final aim was to strengthen partner capacity in a consistent and competent way.
