Relief Applications is a multicultural humanitarian-to-humanitarian organization that leverages advanced technology to support frontline responders and development actors. We specialize in creating data-governance tools, mobile and web platforms, and customized information management systems for international NGOs, UN agencies, and other humanitarian partners.
Our mission is to provide innovation solutions to the humanitarian and development sector through the following areas:
Information Management ,Meal&Research,Capacity Building and Training ,Applications development&Maintenance ,Website desing and mobile apps,AI interactive tools ,Communication Engagement
We are expanding our network of who can be rapidly deployed on upcoming projects and proposals. Note that most of the time, the consultancy will be remote but can involve potential travel to the field or headquarters. We are seeking experts in the following areas:
Information Management Officers (French-speaking required currently)
→ experience with humanitarian IM systems, Kobo, PowerBI, GIS, or data pipelines.
Data Scientists / Data Analysts → expertise in data modelling, dashboarding, AI/ML, or statistical analysis for humanitarian/development contexts. AI Experts → understanding of ethical AI, responsible data, and deployment of AI for social impact. Experts in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) & Anticipatory Action (AA)
→ background in risk modelling, early warning, or preparedness frameworks.
Technical Project Managers
→ experience managing IT development teams, coordinating clients and developers, and delivering digital products. Data Protection Specialists
→ GDPR compliance, responsible data frameworks, AI/data ethics.
MOODLE Expert → experience developing, configuring, and maintaining Moodle-based learning platforms; knowledge of course creation, plugin management, user administration, and LMS integration within humanitarian or educational contexts.
MEAL Experts (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning)
→ Project evaluation, MEAL frameworks, indicator design, data quality systems.
Other Humanitarian Technical Experts

REQUIREMENTS
- 3–10+ years of professional experience (depending on role)
- Strong technical literacy and/or data skills
- Experience working with international NGOs, UN agencies, or research projects
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines
